Based on our vision of eliminating sexual violence, the mission of Rape Response is to serve as a system of support, advocacy, and education, while providing services to the community and to survivors of sexual assault while safeguarding the dignity of each person served.


Victim Services:
Last year, Rape Response assisted 454 victims through the crisis hotline, hospital interventions, criminal justice, and professional counseling. All services are free and confidential. Services are provided to those 14 years of age and older, male and female.

Prevention Education: In 2009/10 our Date Rape curriculum was provided to over 2500 middle school students throughout Northeast Georgia. Nationwide requests to view and use the award-winning curriculums are received on an ongoing basis from individuals, schools, public or private agencies, churches and other organizations.  Prevention and professional development training for law enforcement, medical, and school professionals is provided.
