Based on our vision of eliminating sexual violence, the mission of Rape Response is to serve as a system of support, advocacy, and education, while providing services to the community and to survivors of sexual assault while safeguarding the dignity of each person served.


New Highschool Senior Rape Curriculum

Victim Services: Last year, Rape Response assisted 407 victims through the crisis hotline, hospital interventions, criminal justice, and professional counseling. All services are free and confidential. Services are provided to those 14 years of age and older, male and female.

Prevention Education: Date rape curriculum and the Safe Relationships program are provided to over 4000 local middle school, high school, and college students each year. Prevention training for law enforcement, medical, and school professionals is provided.

Directions from I-985: Take Exit 22 and turn Left onto Hwy 129. Go 1.5 mi and then turn Left on Jesse Jewell Pkwy. (Holiday Inn on left). Go .2 mi and then turn Right on West Academy St. (BB&T on left). Go .2 mi and then turn Left on Oak St. (where W. Academy begins a bend to the right). Go .2 mi to 615 Oak St (on left – look for the North Georgia Community Foundation Bldg).  Go into lower parking lot and enter doors from there.  Conference room is just inside front doors
