Community Engagement Coordinator

The Community Engagement Coordinator is a salaried, full-time position with benefits responsible for engaging a broad spectrum of community stakeholders and resources through public awareness, outreach and marketing in a six-county service area. The coordinator will lead resource development, targeted appeals, donor relations, grant writing, fundraising events and have oversight of print materials, website, media relations and social media formats. Position duties require use of data systems that impact planning, tracking, analysis and reporting. Assistance and support to the Executive Director in administrative and financial management is a key role. The Coordinator will use a high-level of collaboration and referral skills to partner with the Advocacy Director and Victim Advocates who will provide the direct services to survivors of sexual assault and their significant others. Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 3 years related experience. Will consider commensurate experience. Some evenings and weekends required. Contract Educator

Contract Educators teach our Let’s Talk curriculum to middle and high school students, parents and educators throughout our six county service area: Dawson, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Lumpkin & White Counties. This position has flexible hours and requires travel throughout our service area.

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human service field, psychology, social and behavioral sciences or related field
  • Experience/comfort working with teenagers
  • Experience/comfort working in education
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work with other educators on the Prevention Education team
  • Ability to work effectively with people from all socio-economic, religious and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to compile feedback on programming and respond with any appropriate changes
  • Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
