Rape Response is sponsoring a Parenting the Survivor Workshop this fall! Six Week Series: September 12 – October 17, Wednesdays 6pm-7:30pm Being a parent is difficult. Navigating the road to healing after trauma can feel overwhelming. Let us help! This 6 week group is intended to offer support and education to parents of sexual abuse/sexual assault survivors (infancy – adolescence). This is not a ‘therapy’ group. Each family is encouraged to seek therapy in addition to attending this workshop.  September 12-Week 1: Introduction and Orientation Learn about Rape Response and get to know each other. This is a good time to set up rules and expectations for the group so each member can get the most out of our time together.
